Back in 1999, I saw the rapid growth that Badger Metal was experiencing and questioned how we would accomplish this growth without losing our current ability to respond to our customer's needs and keep our employees fully informed on, a need to know basis, of all aspects of the changes and procedures being made at Badger Metal Tech. Sure we were computerized, and all employees had a working knowledge of our systems. The problem was that we would spend hours looking for documents or files on the computer to respond to customer's requests or find information. The larger we got the harder it became to stay organized and maintain good customer relations.

Because of this, I developed a ""Mental Wish List"" for a single software program that would address all of our needs and concerns. It would have to be able to monitor everything ""and I mean everything"" regarding our customers, and vendors, along with being able to keep tabs on complaints, documents, management reviews, audits, company personnel, equipment, etc. etc. etc.
