To ensure that control is to defined standards and allow a subjective validation of evidence, equipment calibration and maintenance is essential. PROQUIS Equipment Module ensures the equipment is calibrated, maintained, and available. For effective management, PROQUIS Equipment enables recording complete equipment details, create and maintain the equipment check trail and more.
The additional equipment maintenance request (EMR) module can be integrated with the main Equipment module, or function separately for equipment and maintenance requests on items not recorded in the Equipment register.
With PROQUIS Equipment Control Module you have the tools to ensure that your equipment is calibrated, maintained, and available. It records equipment details, serial numbers, vendor, date purchased, and current location, making retrieval for calibration and maintenance easy. All equipment categories are user defined, store all the information required about detailed measures, when calibrating your equipment. The power of this facility ensures that you will always know the defined measurements of any piece of equipment, and when you come to check these measurements, PROQUIS will warn you if things are not to the designated tolerance.
The equipments check plan allows you to define up to three individual check periods, such as "Weekly", "Monthly" and "Annual". These are used for automatically warning you when your equipment is due for specific checks. Once the check information is entered, the due dates for the next calibration are automatically updated, ready for the next planned check. Due dates can be "Rolled Forward" - this puts entries in the PROQUIS diary so you'll know your future workload. No need to worry about tracking your equipment checks, PROQUIS handles all of this for you and gives you up to 99 days advanced warning. Using the "Check Expert", simply follow the on-screen prompts to perform all your calibration or maintenance tasks.
Example… "Was the check due to a breakdown or just a routine maintenance check?" "Do you need to check and record any detailed measurements for calibration?" 'Control your equipment records, calibration, movements and inspections easily with PROQUIS' - PROQUIS will log all of this information and more. It will tell you what the checks have cost, warn you if measurements are out of tolerance and log the information for future reference. These functions ensure that a routine check will never be missed again and you will always know where the equipment is and where it has been.
For the "un-planned" maintenance tasks, PROQUIS offers Equipment Maintenance Request (EMR) - a maintenance request system. It defines the values of equipment and, based on the settings it calculates the book value of equipment using standard depreciation methods.
The maintenance and breakdown budgets can also be set-up, and based on the costs of equipment checking the figures can be reduced accordingly. Moreover, PROQUIS EMR allows handling of unplanned maintenance or breakdown requests. This function is typically useful for building or other facilities maintenance.
